On Facebook or MySpace, I can click over and read them or not. In email form they force me to take action, whether it be to open it and read it or take the two clicks to select and delete it. I remember when NKOTB was big, and the boys in my neighborhood were making fun of us for listening to them and would sing The Right Stuff in a stupid voice. My point was always 'if you hate them so much, why do you listen to the song enough to know the words?' Same thing with this Claire chick. So what if your friends and their memes are boring, you don't have to read the things. I think she's an self-important turd (opinion based solely on this instance), so I'm not going to read her article. See, that was easy. The memes in email annoy the shit out of me.
